ANKENY BASKETBALL CLUB

The Ankeny Basketball Club was established in 2019. The club includes both boys and girls teams ranging from  first grade through eight grade. The goal of the club is to introduce participants to the Ankeny basketball philosophy as well as exposing players to the fundamentals of the game while teaching sportsmanship, pride, dedication, and work ethic. ABC is OPEN TO ALL regardless of where they live or attend school in the Ankeny Community School District.

Try-outs & Next Steps:

1. All players will be placed on a team, after try-outs on Sunday, August 18th  teams will be formed and communication will be prepared.
2. You will receive an email on or before August 21st with your players’ team placement. At that time you will need to pay the deposit by end of day on September 10th and have completed the ABC Contact.
3. You will need to order your uniform by September 20th  as well.  Late orders are not guaranteed to be here by the 1st games, and will come at an extra cost as set by the supplier.
4. Practice will start Mid October with a Skills Camp hosted by Ankeny High School Coaches and Players.

NOTE: 9th grade will start earlier
